The Board meets when there is an appeal filed with the Mayors Office, meetings are held in the Council Chambers. Three members consisting of a licensed vet, non-pet owner, and pet owner serve 3 year terms and are appointed by the Mayor with approval from the City Council.
Specific Powers and Duties:
Has jurisdiction to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in the finding of the City Animal Warden in declaring dogs or cats to be dangerous or vicious.
