MidAmerican Energy Streetlights

All streetlights on wooden poles within the City of Fort Dodge are owned and maintained by MidAmerican Energy.  Streetlight outages may be reported directly to MidAmerican Energy using their online Street Light Request Form  or by calling MidAmerican Energy at 1-888-427-5632.  If you do not see the repairs completed within 4 weeks, please submit a second request to MidAmerican Energy.

Pothole or other street complaints?

Use the app below to request City services or report non-emergency issues, such as potholes, yard waste pick up, broken sidewalks, garbage/recycling not picked up, traffic signal/sign problems, tall grass/weed complaints, etc.

Law enforcement issues (animal control, illegal parking or other activities, etc.) need to be reported directly to the Police Department by calling 515.573.2323 (for non-emergencies) or 911 (for emergencies).
